Spring Weddings and Covid-19

The 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic has left us all with a "new normal". Changing our daily routines, affecting our employment, distancing from family members and friends, we are left wondering when this will all be over. Many couples planning Spring and Summer weddings have had to change their ceremony date or revise their guest list down to two people - a minister and a witness. Still, they should be celebrated and not forgotten. The "Something Blue" card I made for my brother-in-law and his fiance who are still exchanging vows but saving the big celebration for April 2021. They had just recently bought a house, so this card was to represent both happy marriage & happy home; they already had their something(s) old, new and borrowed. :)

The next set of cards I made for a co-worker using her wedding colors; blush and navy. She had commissioned me to make a set of 6 thank you cards for her bridesmaids and couldn't decide between the design prototypes we collaborated. So she asked me to make 3 of each of her favorite designs, and I was more than happy to!. I also created a card just for her from my coworkers and I who went in on a large group gift together. We aren't seeing each other as often with our altered work schedule, but this is a way we can still stay connected and share our excitement for her in the meantime.
